Top harpsichordists
Christopher was rather amused to find himself featured in a "List of Best Harpsichordists" on the website mytopdozen.com.
The site, which boasts “ranking lists of high quality based on people
votes, popularity in search engines and other criteria”, places
Christopher third in its list, among such well-known “harpsichordists”
as singer-songwriter Tori Amos and jazz pianist Keith Jarrett. Further
investigation revealed that Christopher is also ranked third in the
site’s more plausible "List of Best Decca Records Artists", behind only Vladimir Ashkenazy and Luciano Pavarotti.
